Willing to bet that they get more ad revenue from "adult ad's" than they do children's ad's and they are banking on that happening so they are entertaining the idea to see if it works out.

Even with the loss of underage content creators, this will just drive users to other channels and give them free reign to show whatever ad's they wasnt.
