We need a tag like /s but for non-rhetorical questions
Sometimes you ask a question that's a sincere attempt to solicit an actual answer, but everyone assumes it's a rhetorical question. Like no, I'm actually asking.

I’ve always seen /srs as short for “serious”, I imagine most people would understand that
I like /srs, but /gen is growing on me
Around me people usually use

This feels, prescriptively, like the correct answer

/s^H^H/sThere's [serious] - it started on Reddit (I think) but doesn't need to stay there.
You could say "I actually want to know.. {{question}}?" Or "Sincerely, ..."
If someone starts making up new abbreviations I'm probably not going to take their question seriously /!s
