OMG, that's me. You're totally right. I would say that
this test got popular when I was in freshman year of college and yeah it's kind of cringe, but it actually made me think about aspects of my personality and how I do things, and which parts I like/dislike. as an introspection tool it was pretty helpful for me.
For that purpose it seems fine! The issue is that companies and the government make actually important decisions based on this stuff
I was firmly ENTP in my 20s, now in my 40s I'm none of them. I like to think I'm more balanced now that I don't fit any of these stereotypes, but who knows. It's silly anyways, just another way for ppl to try to make groupings of things
I'm also in my 40s, and I've flip-flopped between ISTP and INTP since my teens. I just took it again and today I'm INTP. Hooray for consistency, I guess....
