Folk-punk is welcome! I saw Days N Daze 5 or so years ago at a community centre. They stood in the middle of the floor and everyone circled around them, there were a bunch of dogs running around, great energy. Stuck around after the show to drink in the parking lot with a bunch of us. I'm not the biggest folkpunk fan, but its awesome live, damn if those people don't know how to have a good time.
Yeah, it's not my cup of tea per se, but you're so right about the energy at the live shows. Something about folk punk just sounds so good in a squat basement.
