My username alone predates social media. I was there for the rise and fall of MySpace friend ordering, being a purple tentacle monster on Elfpack, and I have forgotten what Bebos thing was.

Not if you don't mind, I need to find some Panadol for my back.

@[email protected] l remember myspace, but just the name. Didn't hear of Elfpack and Bebos. I had an account on Orkut. I was in my mid teens then. Facebook happened later. In fact, Zuckerberg is as old as me. Even Durov is of the same age, maybe a year younger.

Most of the social media sites at that time was regional l believe. Google was just a search engine, while Yahoo was far more popular. I'm talking about the days of the internet explorer of the 90s.

I think if I just say, "I was there" then I've answered your question. I watched the wild West that was the Internet turn into the pile of utter shit that it is today. And it happened right under my fucking nose.
