Surprised this is the first I’ve heard of this. A successful Ukrainian assault on Crimea seems like fairly significant news.
It has happened on 23rd, the day Prigozhin's plane went down. Most articles were writing about that, so it's not surprising that some people didn't see the news about the assault.
