I'll be super shocked when we find out the reluctance to use the contingency funds has everything to do with those funds already being "reallocated" elsewhere.

Honestly though, if the media actually covers it... it's kind of an instant smoking gun to the "democrats are preventing you from getting snap benefits" BS that most people are already seeing through. The shutdown technically both sides are doing it (however the democrats are doing to save american's healthcare), snap is a republican hostage in this fight... one which they tried to lie and say they "couldn't" fund, this order not only demonstrates that they can... but makes it very apparent that they actually really care about denying people's food.
