Those playing Pokemon Legends ZA, how are you liking it so far?
Have any of you come across stuff that makes you wish you knew sooner?
Any tips you want to share with those who just started the game?
I’m in the middle of trying to get a shiny Venipede but no luck so far.
I am not sold fully on the new combat, while it does appear to add more depth, I liked the old turn based combat.
But that is not deal breaker for me, however it does appear to be for my wife. She liked the usual battles because they did not require a quick reaction time, she dislikes the raids in S&V because those do require a reaction time.
I am only a short ways into the game, so I do not have much feedback other than I hope I stop being guided around the city soon so I can play the game instead of an extended tutorial.
I agree with you about the city guiding, it took too long of a time before I could shop for clothes and spend time in more than the first wild zone.
I’m still not thrilled at how far in the game I have to go before I get some of the Pokemon I want.
I know the tutorial is meant for those who have little to no experience with Pokemon but I was reaching a point of swearing at the phone when it would pop up and stop me from exploring.
This game fuckin' rules. I fell ass backwards into a shiny Pidgey.
Wish I knew sooner: In your boxes, You can multi select pokemon in order and they'll fill in spots in the box you drop them in. This is hard to describe -- multi select is no longer "draw a rectangle and move them like a fucked up Tetris piece." Now it's, "select them in the order you want them placed down." If you have a row XXOXOX, and you multi select two pokemon, they'll fill the Os no problem.
Tip: Attacks have speed and range in addition to cool down. Bigger power does not always equal better move. Example: Wing Attack vs Arial Ace.
That is a good tip about attack range and speed, it’s not as obvious as the cooldown.
I haven’t done much box organizing yet but I’m glad to hear it’s better than SV.
