Given a sponsor-authorized release of a commissioned survey item, SWS is disclosing pertinent survey results and technical details for the benefit of the public.

The SWS April 15-18, 2023 national survey was commissioned by Mr. Arnel Ty. It contained a question item on voting preferences for Senators using a list of names provided by Mr. Ty. The results are shown in Table 1.

The survey was a nationwide probability-based survey conducted from April 15-18, 2023 using face-to-face computer-assisted personal interviews (CAPI). A total of 1,200 adults (18 years old and above) were interviewed: 300 each in Metro Manila, Balance of Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao. This gives a sampling error margin of ±3% for national percentages, and ±6% each for Metro Manila, Balance of Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

The area estimates were weighted by the Philippine Statistics Authority medium-population projections for 2023 to obtain the national estimates.
