I saw a meme about a puppy pattern on someone's toilet paper. They were apologizing for what they were putting the puppy through, but dogs are always sniffing butts anyways. It makes perfect sense.
I think the act reflects more of taking an actual dog’s face and rubbing it through your crack, as opposed to it just reflecting a nose-sniff greeting; the apology makes more sense to me lol
