We're on holiday in Crete.
Breakfast: Greek yoghurt and honey, a ham and mushroom omelette, croissants and coffee. Don't want to overdo it.
Lunch: chicken souvlaki and ouzo. Careful, let's not ruin my appetite for later.
Dinner: three of everything from the buffet, multiple bread rolls, a large bowl of chips, seven desserts and a beer.
Nice mate. I was up on the north coast a couple of years ago. Loved it.
I could have opened my hotel room balcony door, and sat and stared at the massive fuckoff rock formation opposite the room for hours. And I did.
Lovely place. Enjoy your break.
Cheers, bud. We're in Elounda on the east coast near-ish to Agios Nicolaos and it feels like heaven. The views are stunning and the weather is perfect. The beer's pretty good too.
It is indeed. We live in rural Herefordshire so we are very dark at night.
Do you have a picture of said big fuckoff rock formation?
I do mate yeah
I'm no David Bailey so the lighting is all to wack, but I could quite easily sit there and stare at the side of that with a coffee all day.
Not a terrible view! I'd be happy to sit on the balcony with a fresh coffee, a book and nobody else to disturb my peace!
If a friendly local offers to show you old WW2 bunkers, say no and make it clear you're not holidaying alone

Looks delish, I'd wish you a good holiday but sounds like you're well on your way!
