I can’t wait for the lawsuits, when we discover over 60% of the companies didn’t respect the request and still gathered our data. Then we all get our checks for $3.50 and a year’s worth of free credit monitoring… /s

At this rate we'll have free credit monitoring for life! Will it help when it detects someone used your sensitive information to take out a huge loan in your name? Fuck no! They'll just tell you it happened and that you should do something about it.

Credit monitoring, offered through the credit scoring companies who started collecting all of your personal info without your knowledge or consent, and then constantly have data breaches due to their own laziness, greed and incompetence.
