Rats that sing carols before Thanksgiving definitely aren't getting a lot for Christmas.

More like Scrooges that "Bah, humbug!" rats that sing carols before Thanksgiving definitely aren't getting a lot for Christmas. No offense.

I've already got some of my lights up.

Because they're programmable RGB lights and I've got them set to Halloween colors, NOT CHRISTMAS!

we still have spooky season to go, which is in fact the only thing stopping the resting old god Mariah Carey from awakening from her slumber

What's really sad, is the most gorgeous Christmas tune I know-of, is by Crissy Hynde & The Pretenders,

where she uses guitar as a kind of bells..

& she wrote it to be "the most depressing Christmas song ever written".

It's about a woman waiting for her husband to return from the war ( Falkland Islands, in that case )..

The catch-of-her-breath, at the end of the song..

Dear madame Hynde, until I found that out, the tune was gorgeous..

Now it's gorgeous+horrible.

Someday I hope .. I don't know, off-duty Leprichauns, or something, .. get even with you for ruining the best Christmas tune in the whole world.

Humbug, woman, humbug.
