I fucking hate disposable wooden cutlery. I get that they're way better than plastic crap, but they always feel so dry and my lips end up gripping on them.
It's not so much the taste I remember ... more the memory attached to everything else around having the opportunity to have one of these when I was a kid.
It wasn't the food we enjoyed ... it was the memory surrounding it.

Well the spoon has more flavor than the ice cream.
The sensation of biting the spoon still makes me have shivers and I haven't even seen one of those in decades
