If they can make everything black and white, I see no reason why they couldn't do this too. I love it.
Perfect mathematical corners/angles. You'd cut yourself on everything. Unless the holodeck can apply a little CRT fuzz.
Maybe a small amount of Anti-Aliasing would do the trick
