FOSS call recorder for android?
Anyone know of a good phone call recorder for an ungoogled android? Didn't see anything in f-droid.

If for some reason you want to record a call, make sure to check what the laws around that are in your country, in mine for example you have to tell the other person you're recording, but I believe you don't have to if you're talking to a company you are paying for some service for example

I just use an audio recorder while the call is on speaker phone.
Google disabled call recording for everyone a few years back because it's illegal in some places. Even in states where it is legal, most of the call recorder apps dont work without root privileges anymore.
If you have the budget, on GOS I have a record button in calls
A few years ago I was using "Call Recorder" which seemed good at the time, but right now hasn't had any work done on it since 2023.
It was on f-droid, but the author threw a tantrum at f-droid about donations.

This allows recording? I don't see how.
Oh sorry I read it wrong, thought you meant call app. For recording maybe basic call recorder but I think it requires root.
