Autistic people handling taarof?
I just learned about taarof (the extreme politeness of repeatedly saying you want the opposite of what you actually want). So many people online say they made a mistake in interpreting what was happening, it made me wonder:
How do Persian autistic people navigate that interaction?

Just read about it and it sounds tough if you struggle with social interactions. I’d be very curious as well to hear from natives of the area how they navigate this.
