I’m a little surprised we don’t talk more about the environmental impact of the two world wars, but I guess it wasn’t until the 70s that environmentalism started to enter the mainstream consciousness.

On the right side someone started neatly stacking their spent shells in an orderly way, then looked around, went "fuck that" and chucked it all on the pile like everyone else.
