I don't compost, but I'm surprised that any fruit sticker wouldn't be. I was under the impression they're supposed to be edible in case of accidental consumption.
Little plastic stickers are edible, they won't kill you. If it's all the same, I'll take a paper banana sticker rather than another piece of plastic floating around.
Those stickers are cool as long as they are not from chiquita (because they made the term "banana mafia" serious and sad)
