[Feature Request] Compact Post View & Side Bar Community Sorting
Hey fellow Blorpers.. Blorpee’s? Idk.
Enjoying this app so far, but would like to request 2 features that I think would benefit a lot of users.
1- A compact view for posts.
2- The ability to organise the subscribed sidebar communities by name.
Compact post view is arguably more important IMO, and would definitely cement this as my daily driver for Piefed.

While the TestFlight version does have a 'compact' version, I think there should be an even more compact option that is just the headline, upvote/downvote count (or combined, per user preference), comment count, and time since posting, similarly to Arctic's 'Headline' UI option.

Yep, agreed. Arctic and Voyagers implementation are what comes to my mind for a compact view.
I would pretty much like that, too.
Let me perfect the current compact version first, but I built it in a way that will make it pretty easy to add an “ultra compact” version. In the meantime, maybe you all can help me come up with a better name for this even more compact version.
Isn’t subscribed already sorted alphabetically?
In case anyone missed the other comment, compact posts are currently in beta. They will be rolling out to everyone in a week or so.
I noticed today that they actually are 😂 I have a few subscribed that were inexplicably sitting on top and out of order.
Can you recreate the issue? If you post a screenshot I can probably figure out what’s going on.
I assume numbers come before letters so 90s Music is okay, but you’d think ‘A’ would come next, and not the three communities between them.
I have to double check how it’s sorted, but it appears it’s case sensitive. Notice how everything with a capital letter is before anything with a lowercase letter. That’s an easy fix.
