Actual image of my thought process when hitting send last night. The truest message I personally have is "I had a shitty cut out of this kid, looked for some image to put in the background, and here we are".

It's low effort in that this didn't take much effort or time. The kid is from the back of some punk album I saw in my feed somewhere, and I got the background while randomly traversing pictures afterwards and was curious how they'd work together.

I really like how it turned out too - it's a striking image, but really ambiguous to the point of incoherence. It all looks like it means something but there's conflicting small details that lend themselves to multiple interpretations. Made another version with of this with very slight changes as well (ends up queer rights coded, I guess?), but not 100% sure I want to post it as a cis straight guy at a time where trans folks are being scapegoated as a violent threat. Idk.

Appreciate it! No idea what's got into me recently but I've been fucking around with a paint app last couple of days, want to see how long I can keep a 'at least make, if not make and post' streak going. Not a super artistically minded person, but it's been a fun departure from scrolling bullshit.
