A tech chop shop, they buy tech companies, lay off most of the staff and then hike the price as much as they possibly can.
Oh, they're the guys that Komoot founders sold out to. That sucks.
They also ruined Evernote.
I've a friend who uses Vimeo as a host for imbed videos for her company. I won't be warning her because she's "all in on AI" and I don't think she'll listen to me on anyone enshittification related.
Does PeerTube have a membership/account access mechanism?
If not, I can't see how creators who monetize their content would be able to move in.
I think they would have to do external funding. I think peertube just solves bandwidth without building datacenters like YouTube. But also I’m not too verse with internet stuff.
