Is it really aioli, or is it more likely garlic mayo? After reading "roasted garlic parmesan aioli on a toasted potato bun," I'm guessing garlic added to mayo, not real aioli.
Real aioli, for those who aren't food snobs, is an emulsion made from crushed raw garlic and olive oil. I'm kind of simplifying, but it is that simple at the same time. Garlic mayo is the gutter trailer park "version" of aioli.
