We are at the point now that a gift card for food is really enticing.
A fucking 1k grocery is never not enticing. That is like months of free food regardless of good or bad time.
Not for a family, not around here. The part that gets to me is that it is enticing, that many would take this over other prizes (well not cash over $1000, as you can use that for food).
It's a raffle for gift cards of their member organisations. Also called an advertising deal. If said member is a food chain, what else are they going to advertise with? Kittens?
They used to do trips, cash and fabulous prizes (but yes still an advertising deal).
My main take away was that this is appealing more then a trip to people now (myself included) and that is kinda bleak.
I mean... That would probably work too. Who doesn't love kittens?
