Huh, that replicator doesn't look talaxian to me.

Barclay has a cat named Neelix, so maybe that's what Janeway named her replicator.

That also explains why the food from it is always awful:

Calls her replicator Neelix because just like him it's a fucking joke.

It's been a while but I'm fairly certain there are several instances where he makes the coffee (and it's better than replicated and so on), no?

Just started watching Voyager for the first time and I already hate Neelix so, so much. Fucking Jar-Jar Binks -ass space rat-human

I think it gets good when he goes from unintentionally annoying to well-meaningly annoying.

::: spoiler spoiler After they write off Kes, the writers write Neelix much better, and he becomes sort of the uncle of Voyager. :::

Yeah, Neelix has a lot of annoying times (and creepy in the case of Kes) but I definitely like him as the guy who's smiling because he's seen some truly terrible shit and just wants the people around him to feel comfortable in their situations. Neelix was written so many different ways in Voyager, it's hard to totally like or dislike him.

Hell get better with Season 03 ::: spoiler Spoiler Basically as soon as Kes is gone :::

The actor who plays Neelix is briefly in Star Trek First Contact and when the Borg throw him across the room, it’s my favorite part of the movie.
