I built a small app for myself to actually finish my goals, and my girlfriend has started using it every day, sharing what she managed to accomplish. It feels amazing to build something truly useful.
I’m a solopreneur, and my mind is constantly full of new ideas. Some good, some not so much. I tried to bring them to life, but many never actually make it. Running between a full-time job, side projects, and daily tasks is a constant chaos. So I thought, why not build a tool just for me, designed the way I like, to help keep my thoughts organized with some cool features.
Working in tech has brought many advantages… but also a fair share of mental chaos.
This app uses light AI model to help with daily tasks or plan for longer term goals. It’s been helping me and my girlfriend with small things like for example, working out two times a week or drinking 2 liters of water, or even keeping my thoughts aligned with where I want to be in 5 years.
It’s still in early stage, it is possible to try on iOS or Android, so don’t expect anything fancy, just a simple tool that is helping me stay on track. Would be cool if a few people could try it out and share your feedback. If you’re interested, you can leave a comment... It would be really cool to hear your thoughts.
For anyone that wants a similar dopamine hit without any AI:
Just randomly pay $5 or $10 on your credit card. Our brains give off the same dopamine hit for that as a random splurge purchase, and the absolute worst case scenario you get addicted to paying off debt.
When you run out of debt, start using credit cards for daily purchases so you have something to pay it off.
Once your done with that and you start saving money in your bank account, force yourself to check your balance multiple times a day, even if you don't like what you see. Your brain is easily tricked into watching those numbers go up for a long term goal. But you need to see it happen to get that to work for you. Even if it's depressing at first, when it improves the dopamine will start training you to save money.
Capitalism abuses how we're wired constantly, we need to start putting the same thought into it from our side
Nice comment, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I guess we need to constantly fight the world mentally to resist the instill of urges.
Is it local or does it require Internet access?
Thanks for asking. The AI used in the application requires internet access. However there are no ads, no logins, no distractions.
Just a minimal design productivity app to actually get shit done.
I created this landing page for those who want to take a look :) https://olegleo.github.io/endspire-app/
