Yeah, but I'm sure americans won't just bend over and take it. Again and again and again...

These people are just incapable of taking any kind of actual hard stance and speaking the truth, aren't they?

This is a fascist takeover, and zero democrat establishment types have called it what it is.

no? but he did continue those wars and even escalate. he's the drone guy. the drone strikes on weddings guy. ask me how much i give a shit if he started it. my point wasn't that he started it, it's that it's funny how the US army presence all of a sudden seems bad when it's US soil when people like him were all too happy using that army on civilians of other countries.

Did Obama say that the Iraqis would "greet us as liberators" like your previous comment references? It's amazing how often I see people blaming Obama for shit that Bush did.

i didn't say he said it. wasn't my point though. he was only a part of the same machine. this is about US foreign policy, not what barack personally did or didn't do.

btw it wasn't bush either. I'd get my facts straight if I were trying to "correct" me.

I mean... That's the point of a military. To deploy to foreign lands or repel a foreign invasion.

you dear sweet naive fucking summer child, no. you're gonna learn what we were using the military for. i wonder if you will be so flippant about its purpose then.

I never said you couldn't disagree on its usage. That is the express purpose though. FOREIGN enemies.

Try reading next time. Believe me, Im very much against the mic, etc.

Obama signed the 2012 NDAA which created the power troops wield as they are mobilized on US soil. It expanded the concept of the "battlefield" on the "war on terror" to include US soil, and empowered indefinite detention without charge or trial, and without the possibility for review, of anyone an offical could claim was a "terrorist". Including US citizens. All some pig has to say is that they suspect you of terrorism, and they can imprison you for life without trial and with no recourse for you. Which is clearly unconstitutional.

If he didnt like it he should have vetoed it. He signed it instead. I hope he's proud of his legacy on that one.

I thought Obama was a mythical creature that appears every four years to ruin the election.

5

Fuck you Obama. Fuck you.

You did so fucking little. You were a symbol, and you chose, and are continuing to choose, to be a useless, arrogant, generic politician.

Fuck this shit. Wake the fuck up, America. You all want Newsom in 2028? Have you lost your damn mind?! Shake the dust. Shake. The. Fucking. Dust.

Like how he persecuted/prosecuted Assange? Fuck that asshole. Promised Med for All? Lying piece of shit.

To be fair, he didn’t actually prosecute Assange and he extended medical benefits to a lot of people who didn’t have it before. When you look at the mess that is US legislature, I’m surprised that he achieved any medical reforms.

Obama was handed a Democratic supermajority, but the dems dropped the idea of a public option right away.

The Dems couldn't hurt their real constituents: the insurance companies. Obamacare was a huge boon to the health insurance industry and their shareholders.

I remember the details quite vividly, as the medical bankruptcy that destroyed my life was started pre-ACA, but finalized post-ACA.

Eh.... To be fair, he did have a period early on when Dems had a supermajority, and he did nothing with it.
