Makes sense, she's not VP anymore and not a candidate for national office.
All former VPs and Presidents have Secret Service on them. Not being actively in office doesn't mean you forget all of the top secret information you knew when in office.
Edit: apparently VPs only get protection for a limited time which is honestly stupid.

VPs lose protection 6 months after leaving office. Hers would have expired in July, Biden extended it for 1 year, Trump removed that extension.

Presidential discretion, it's not a hard and fast rule. The rule is end of term +6 months.
