Assuming this is an outdoor cat (collar and bell), they'll get their fill of violence from decimating local bird populations 🙂

There are studies indicating that 1. The Urbanisation of previous bird habitat has a much bigger impact on certain populations and 2. Most of the birds killed are common and adapted to urban life. Which leads to the conclusion that cats are not the one and only big problem for sining bird population, which is mostly spoken of in this context.

Regardless of if they're a major factor or not, or what species they're targeting, it's still a shitty thing to do to allow your pet to fuck with the local wildlife.

If you wouldn't go out killing birds, don't let your cat do it either.

wth is an outdoor catm..that's called animal abuse, or a stray..which most likely happened because it was an abuse cat by people allowing their pets to roam outside freely.

Between thumbed cats and AI global warming, we're all doomed. But at least the thumbed cats are the cutest death. Pspspspspsps

Adorable thumbs.

I sure hope that collar is detachable though. Cats have a tendency to get their collars stuck on things and subsequently hang themselves if it's not.

It's not a pretty sight to find, and is why pmuch every cat collar sold automatically detaches with a little force.

Polydactyls always make me sad, because the first cat I wanted from the shelter was a polydactyl and my dad said no because, "you don't know what else is wrong with it." So I had to get a dog instead.

To this day, cats are my preferred pet, and we have 7. Dogs are cool to hang out with, but I don't want to have to be personally responsible every time a pet needs to use the bathroom.

Let me ask you a question. Out of all the pets we have around the world, which single pet is allowed to shove things off tables and get away with it? Only cats. They have already taken over. Some of us just haven't yet realized. Accept your fate, and open this Cesar's pack.

I wonder if you live near a coast. I've read that sailors considered them lucky and so they're more common in port cities.
