Help, I don't have a problem (or The necessity to reinstall Magisk after update)

I'm on a phone with A/B partitions (slots?), and just did a LineageOS OTA update.
I forgot to resinstall Magisk after the update applied and before the reboot.
Yet Magisk is still there and my phone is rooted.

Is "Install to inactive slot" in Magisk not needed anymore? I've been doing it for years.

I have been using a phone with A/B partitions and LineageOS for some years now and never needed to reinstall Magisk after an OTA update. Until I saw this post I didn't even know this option existed in Magisk and had to check. Maybe the Lineage OTA doesn't overwrite Magisk? (correct me if I'm wrong)

Thanks!

My first search results showed reinstalling was necessary, but now I find threads saying it isn't (if the device is not encrypted)
