Finished my 10" rack (for now)

I noticed I didn't post this in the MiniLab community, so here it is again! Didn't change anything on the hardware since.

Been planning to migrate from my Supermicro monolith server for a while and finally finished the migration. Red thing is opnsense on an APU engine, Lenovos run a proxmox cluster, below is a mini PC with attached JBOD running TrueNAS.

Next step is to get another shelf for my Raspi and openDTU.

It's too late. I've already hacked 192.168 1

Your network is mine now sorry.

All joking aside, nice install! What a tidy little lab.

Thanks! It's way nicer to look at than five little computers with loads of cables on the dresser.

Is that Olmaster thing an enclosure connected to one of the computers by (normally internal) SATA cables? I see that they sell enclosure that fit in a 5.25" Bay but hold several 2.5" drives.

Exactly, it has a single MOLEX and four SATA ports on the backside. The box underneath has it's lid removed so the cables can go though.

Thank you.

You choose to do it this way for easier access to the drives? It doesn't look like these actually add more SATA capacity itself.

Not so much for easier access (though it's great) but because the mini pc's case can't fit that many drives.

I already had it from a former desktop case where I put it in the 5,25" bay and then found the neat rackmount enclosure STL
