Me, with a deviated septum. 😭

Would highly recommend the surgery to correct it, it's painful but 1000% worth it.

I had a septoplasty a couple of years ago. My nose has kind of closed up again since then, but it's still 20% better than it was so I'll take what I can get. But... I fantasize about how it felt when I first got the splints out.

Anyone: "How do you know you're not sick anymore"

Me: "When I forget that I possess a nose!"

You could get rid of it, but you wouldn’t like it very much.

Wife and I just caught COVID for the first time. 3 shots, maybe it could have been worse? Yeah, not taking my nose for granted. Until I get better and forget again.

On a serious note, isn't it nice that we can't truly remember pain? Pretty sure I'd go insane if I could remember all the fucked up shit I've been through.

Can't you? I mean if I'm in pain, I can go back and be like "ok, this is worse than x and y, but not as bad as z".

I've had over a dozen sinus infections and now am down to a "hey doc I got another one"

I keep rolling over to clear up the sinus on top.

3

I do this too. Is it because the snot runs down to the lower sinus(es)?

A stuffed nose is temporary. I tend to think more about all the microplastics in my brain. There is no way this plastic in every animal doesn‘t have neurological consequences.

If you get enough microplastics in your brain, you can be head of the CDC some day.

You reached the end
