Deliberate misdirection

On The Other Site, there's a common strategy when discussing play styles: focus on suboptimal strategies and don't give away the optimal one.

For example during a previous set someone wrote up a detailed guide on how to regularly get first place, and people responded "delete this post" because they didn't want anyone else to know the winning strategies.

In general, players hoard the information that helps them win, and will deliberately pass on mediocre information.

It's disgusting. I hate the community.
