Stench at Thickson and Victoria
Anyone know what the deal is with the smell in this area lately? Smells similar to chlorine (but not quite)and is quite wide spread

There's a manufacturer just south of that area (Atlantic Packaging Products). It wouldn't surprise me if that's what you were smelling.

Yeah, depending on where and when you're in the area, some of the industry puts out some really nasty stuff into the air. There's a large industrial area by the waterfront trail in Whitby, and if you go at the "wrong" time, it smells like they're burning tires. I get an instant headache if I'm unfortunate enough to be there when they're doing it. I can't imagine working or living in the area, TBH.
