Back in my day, we chewed on surfboard wax and we loved it.
When I was a kid, Mr. Zogs Sex Wax ( a popular surfboard wax brand) was all the rage. All the cool kids at school chewed it, it came in a bunch of different flavors. How it ended up being a fad in the landlocked state I lived in, I have no idea.
Just as a PSA, there’s a decent chance it was full of PFAS. In case anyone is thinking of giving it a nibble.
It had a flavor? I only ever used it on my board.

You put it in your mouth? How did that happen? I am so curious. I lived in California as a kid and cool folks used it for all their boardsports there. No one ate it though.
Yeah some kid did it so we all did. You just chewed it til the flavor died and then you spit it out.
