Is Pop_OS a good distro to use for a beginner?

I used a bit of Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Lucid Puppy and some variations of Debian before on multiple computers, but not enough to fully understand it.
Have used Windows for a very long time and I am kind of a power user (screw powershell, I am not touching that)

Yah, PopOS is pretty beginner friendly and does a lot of things well. It's a solid choice.

I have not tried Pop OS, but from what I have read, it is used mostly for gaming and can be a good beginner distro. From experience, if you are coming from Windows, I tend to recommend Linux Mint Cinnamon.

It's a good distro to use out of the box. It's well polished, pretty and functional.

It has some "foolproof" features, like having to confirm stuff that may break your system in terminal, if you don't like that you may want to stick with Mint.

If you are not afraid of trying something a bit more harder to install, I would recommend Debian. It's the most stable distro and doesn't come with any proprietary software. If you need any proprietary firmware or prorietary Nvidia drivers, you will need to install them yourself though. During the installation you can choose the desktop environment you would like to use or keep the default, which is Gnome.

YES!! You should come to Linux. It offers lots of customization and freedom. If you are using Nvidia, you should go to Pop Os because it offers Nvidia drivers at start.
