Hoping free talk is okay here: I just started reading this book called Man’s Search For Meaning by Viktor Frankl, an Austrian, Jewish psychiatrist who survived the holocaust. This one is going to hurt like a motherfucker.
Honestly, the Holocaust was so tragic that I don't understand why we're essentially fine with having more genocides happen — obviously not at the same scale but Uyghurs are still being fucked and so are Ukrainians, though obviously we do a lot more about that one.
