Electric how? Are their worm drives inside the fake hydraulic pistons and geared motors tucked inside the armatures?
I race 1/18 scale buggies, but some locals bring their 1/12 scale crawlers to the local park. Are natural woodland trail obstacles like stumps, grass and rocks tricky at that 1/24 scale, or just stick with better maintain trails?
yes I believe there is a threaded rod within the fake piston and a motor in the armature, it sounds like it as well.
rocks and stumps are fine, sand or gravel is fine but long grass can be a pain, I add brass parts to weigh them down and then they are almost unstopable. I like this size because it allows me to make a big course in my backyard
Nice. How are the hydraulics driven? Matching pistons for each pneumatic loop with linear actuators or miniature hydraulic pump?
Is that ramp in the background a course for a rock crawler?
it is just electric :) and it is indeed the crawler course! I ride 1/24 scale on it, fcx24 mostly
