How do I hide a single post?
I want to not see a certain post on my feed, but don't feel like it deserves a downvote, block, or the complete instance to be hidden. How do I do this?
Syndicated from the fediverse. Read and engage on the original instance.

You can't yet: https://codeberg.org/rimu/pyfedi/issues/762
I've assigned it to v1.3 which will raise it's profile and get it done.
Thank you!
What I do on Lemmy is give it a vote then take the vote away. That way the post is marked as read and is hidden.
I can't reproduce this behaviour. Do you refresh the page before removing the vote?
If you have hide read posts on, you can click into it, then back to home. That registers a read. Or the vote then invite method that @[email protected] mentioned will work
Surely the post will be buried under new content in a few hours?
If you use Active it will keep popping up, I've had that a few times
