I hated that album until a friend forced me to experience as exposure therapy. It didn’t work right away, but like a year later I was like, “You know what album deserves another listen?” Suddenly it was amazing.

I'm going to see them for the first time in just a few weeks. Expecting to have my face melted off and very much looking forward to it.

I had this album on vinyl, some kind of special edition blue and orange version. It sounded absolutely awful. I was able to sell it for about $80 tho so I guess it's something that people want.

You're gonna have a great time. I saw them for the first time last year in Seattle and it was an amazing show.

Awesome. Can't wait! I'm a bit "showed out" after jazz fest this year so it's just this one and Nick Cave until the end of the year and I think it's a great way to wrap it up until spring. Also, holy flirking shnit did shows ever get fucking expensive!

yeah. its hard to justify too many shows anymore. but the mars volta will be worth however much you spent. i made sure to be as close to the stage as possible and it was worth it. i cant wait to see them again.

Their newer releases also feature great artworks, mostly painted by Jeff Jordan.
