These categories sound ridiculous but then I picture a class of kindergartners reciting "a is for apple, c is for cookie, e is for effort, and v is for vendetta! screeching halt sound effect Wait, what? What happened to van, or vet, or vase? Also, eggs and elephants would like a word.
Z is pronounced zed in huge swathes of the English speaking world, just saying.
Finally, in my defense on my first mistake, apple is also a tree. (OK fine, that one was my fault for skimming too fast.)

I don't think the effort one is meaning E for effort, instead its probably going for the phrase 'A for effort', meaning I'd give you an A grade for trying even if it wasn't successful

I just disagree with both blue and purple. I knew and thought of just the last one of blues. None of the others make any sense.

And purple, come on… Is that an American thing? Never heard of the first word being "used" like that and then multiple instances of the other one… Who says that?
Both the concept and the execution of the purple group makes me angry. Mostly because it feels somewhat artificial and arbitrary (I know they all are, this one feels like that).

Yellow and green were too easy, and I couldn't see purple or blue at first.
