So far so good. Seems like mostly a minor update with some polish here and there. Main downsides currently are slightly more battery drainage and the keyboard will cover the most recent messages in the Messages app until you kill and re-open.

Oh, and you can scrub through videos by swiping anywhere. Didn’t know how much I’d miss that one.

Also, if there are any Apple Music users on iOS 17, I'd highly appreciate it if you share the experience. When I first heard the announcement, I thought they were finally adding something like Spotify Connect, but after looking for it, I think it's not the case, unfortunately.

Latest dev beta has some bugs. Annoying of which is the failure to render data inside Home Screen widgets.

Beta 2 really helped battery life for me. Overall it’s working well.

I don’t really like how the message apps moved to a separate screen. Seems like extra work. Also for some personally irrational reason I hate that the photos icon is different from the photos icon for the photos apps now.

Live stickers are awesome.

Live voicemail is cool.

Useable widgets for HomeKit is nice

I’m obsessed with the crossword puzzles added to news+
