Those are pretty good containers. I use two to jointly hold a pot worth of beans. They fit about perfectly a pound of beans, a whole onion, and some chunks of potato or beef or whatever I've put in that week.
Yeah, they're great! I got a set of 10 pieces from Costco for $20, which seems pretty cheap. I use them in the oven too, which has been super convenient so far.
