Well let me tell you as someone who's dealt with this kind of thing in unfortunate circumstances, they only keep documents that benefits them. And that'll screw you hard one day.

Wow. I wasn't looking for an awesome document management program that I could self-host, but I think now I retroactively need this.
I operate on the assumption that if it's an important document someone will have a copy of it.
Trust me they don't.
Maybe they will but you have to pay $50 for a copy and $30 for postage
