Hey everyone, quick update, I've not forgotten about the iPad version or people looking to get onto the TestFlight.
I'm in the process of re-working the app into a three column layout; removing the tab bar and having app sidebar to replace it. Home and communities will be split with a list view for the posts and detail view for the comments.
I want to get this to a decent stage before I push it out for anyone to test.
Just like the iPhone version was. This will break and should be considered an alpha.
I changed my phone to an iPhone 15. For some reason it’s not remembering that I paid for the lifetime subscription. When I select restore purchase nothing happens
Buttons text doesn’t seem to be horizontally-aligned to its button (see Home in the screenshot, looks higher than it should be) and the buttons doesn’t seem to be spaced out evenly.
When tapping on an image to view it full screen, the app’s sidebar for some odd reason does a full screen mode and then animate back into regular mode when dismissing the video.
The automatic system theme only works when starting the app fresh / after closing it and opening it again. It won’t “hot swap” between dark and light mode as other apps does.

Are there plans to support shortcuts?
Would love to see the following ones first.
CMD+N for creating a new post. CMD+Enter for submitting the post. CMD+shift+F for global search. CMD+F for searching the current view.
J/K, up/down arrow keys for navigating between comments.
Left/right for collapsing and expanding comments.
Support undo + redo history in the comment box (CMD+Z and CMD+SHIFT+Z).
First impressions are pretty good, way netter optimized for iPadOS than any other Lemmy client richt now.
One bug I've found so far: pressing on the profile icon in the navigation bar opens the Inbox and not the profile.
Oh that’s a fun one! I’ll be working on the iPad version some more over the weekend so I’ll fix that one then 😊
FYI: This happened when I turned of the button labels.

iCloud Sync is on my (ever growing) todo list but I’ll make sure it’s there for 1.1
The layout is likely gonna change over time but hopefully it’s a start!

Still crashes just scrolling in about 5 min. Every time now on my iPad 7.

Why was I removed from the beta?
I don’t think I removed anyone who was in the 1.1 beta already. I’ve not added anyone new yet as I’m reworking the iPad version before I do.
I reset the TestFlight when 1.0.2 was released. I’ll be sharing the TestFlight with more people soon!

Any update on this? I paid partly because I wanted to support the development of the iPad version.
The developer is sick with covid atm.
