Well... depends on the GMO. Copyrighted Monsanto "terminator" seeds that sprout sterile crop is a big no-no in my book.

You're right that the comic wasn't targetting specific modifications, just 'GMO' as if it was bad in itself.
I don’t want you to get me wrong. I fucking despise GMO perverted into automatically expiring crops, but GMO’s are how we have the food abundance we have today and outright slander against It will not be tolerated by me.
I couldn't even tell what they meant by that panel, lol. My first thought was the "non-gmo" labeled sea salt I saw once that blew my mind.
