Wow, felt the same way! I haven't heard the name of that software in a long time. The UI was also such a time capsule of GUI aesthetics of the time, like Winamp skins.
Looks like the foyer of that one guy who turns out to be the villain, but made a lot of valid, even-keeled, resonant points without dipping too hard into monologue, leaving the party quietly shooketh after stopping his evil plan...
