No, this is real. And yes, he has. He's always idolized world leaders that surround themselves with the trappings of wealth, and he's already trying to turn the US into a feudal state where one must court the king with gifts to have anything happen. This doesn't surprise me at all.

There is a part in the graphic novel "Dahmer" where the author talks about watching his friend Jeffrey Dahmer drinking beer, and realizing at that instant that there was something profoundly wrong with him (although he obviously couldn't have grasped just how bad it was). Just in terms of the desperation with which he was sucking on the beers, like no amount of intoxicant could make him feel the way he was trying to get it to make him feel. I also read something similar about someone watching Harvey Weinstein eating popcorn.

I feel like this is that for Trump. You can just clearly see in the video that he knows it's wrong, but he also knows no one will stop him, and he can't help himself from doing it. It's like he's in the grip of something.
