You're really going to compare this to "removed" and, to an extent, "removed"? These words are obviously meant to discriminate those people, when I've never seen "schizo" be used to discriminate people having this mental disorder
Well it is bad... I believe nobody wants to have schizophrenia, just like dementia and Alzheimer's, yet I believe you're fine with people saying those words when you have bad memory, unless you believe that's a slur as well? I don't believe it was ever meant to discriminate those people, or to say that they are inferior in any way.
Bold assumption to make, when you're making a tantrum about a specific subject. No, we're not. And if I'm wrong, then I'll admit it. Banning straight up for 7 days (iirc) is not the way to go to educate people. You assume bad intentions which can only end up wrong.
I do agree that using the word like that is inaccurate and might be a bit offensive, but claiming someone is ableist because of this is far fetched

Think there was one other too but can't remember their name. The complaint is that they don't understand what lurkers are (vote but don't comment) or that people might browse all and not care about AI but down vote something because it is awful. Then they make ridiculous accusations and accuse anyone who disagrees with them of being a troll.
If they just banned down votes and banned anyone who down voted with the reason 'down votes not allowed' then they would not be getting the widespread negative reaction that they are getting by accusing people of brigading or vote manipulation or 'anti-ai harassment' and all their other stupid and insulting made up ban reasons.

Yes, unruffed is the one YPTB mod who is cahoots with the other three mods (of other communities) that are all doing the mass bannings, and even using each other's moderation as an excuse for more bans.

Note I am perfectly fine with the last one for no down voting allowed for that community. It is stupid and rules don't show in the main feed, but no down voting is in the rules and they were banned without being accused of more than what they did.
Don’t forget that Jet spreads misinformation about meat based diets and sudo health science in multiple communities that they moderate.
Yeah, he was the reason I dug in my heels against the stupid 'if you don't like it then ignore it' bullshit which is fine for music and sports but down voting misinformation is one of the main purposes of the down vote!
