Looking at that their main video at the top it's obvious they've really fallen into the vibecoding scam pit. Are they only getting funding from AI investors?
One of Zed's focuses is AI integration. Other than that, I suppose if you prefer having a dedicated application with its own UI instead of a terminal based ones.

Yep, when I saw that video a few months ago, I lost any interest in the editor.
Why would I use this over Helix? (this is not a rethorical question, I really am interested in the benefits)
